To circle back, we actually went with a Highlander. The redesign did Toyota well, and for essentially the same car in the same class it was significantly less. Kia's are selling like a luxury SUV - and I can't figure out why people are paying luxury prices for a Kia, honestly. [/quote]

Agree. $55k for a Kia? Waaa??? I can get a Lexus SUV for that price. I did test drive the Kia, and I liked it, but it did not feel worth $55k. I also felt unsure about its reliability and longevity. Just my opinion. [/quote]

I’m not currently in the market for a car, but if I had to get a full sized SUV than the Telluride would be the one. $55k is probably absolutely loaded trim and all dealer accessories including under body coating. But which Lexus would you get that is comparable in size and seating for that price? You could probably get the Telluride in the low 40s if you didn’t need every option. Plus they have a 10 year warranty and takes regular gas. A lot of brands have been going slightly more upmarket and that includes some Kias, Genesis, and Mazda.[/quote]
