It's not peppy, but that's because you can get 58 mpg in good weather. If you want more pep, get the plug in version that will have the acceleration of an electric motor. I like the higher ceiling height in the back, which is super nice for car seats. But it's still plenty low for kids to get in and out. I like the handling, it's nice to drive.[/quote]
