You sound like a loon.[/quote] for the 8 and unders, short kids tend to be more coordinated. They are also faster at that age. By high school, there are coordinated tall kids and they are faster. Katie Ledecky is 6 feet tall, Michael Phelps is 6'4. Being short is not an advantage in swimming [/quote]
