Maybe it's because we're at a Center school, but I didn't think many kids were actually getting any "Level 3" pull-out services. Many parents would love to see more of it, but I wouldn't plan your child's education based on it or switch schools counting on Level 3 services. Seems to be generally all (Level 4/center program) or nothing.
Maybe the thing to do is to ask the pricipal/AART if the AART is full time. Our school (not Level 4, not Center) has a full time AART and she teaches excellerated math to 4th, 5th and 6th grades everyday. She does SOME pull out/small groups for the lower grades. Tends to focus on math. My child is not advanced in math, but apparently is in writing. Her teacher says that the AART teacher comes in every week (once) for the writing group, but it seems like it's once a month. The AART is only one person, and I know she's really busy with the 4-6th grade math classes. So, from my experience, there definitely IS a lot of level 3 services, just not in the subjects that my child could use.
