[/quote] +1 my child has anxiety issues and I think it’s in part due to my overprotectiveness when he was young. So, op, there’s no perfect path. More important is how you help them cope through it and how you handle it. You beat yourself up all the time over small stuff and you will end up with a kid who beats them self up too much too.
