Our third and final baby is 4 weeks old. I know we are done. I feel 100% done. We have the family of our dreams and went out on a bang: great delivery and everything. Yet, the idea of getting rid of my maternity clothes and never being pregnant again, never feeling a baby move in me again...and then of course getting rid of baby stuff...I swear it takes my breath away. :( HOW do people do this?!
I only have one myself and want two more, so I know I will feel the same way. I plan on keeping a box of sentimental clothes and blankets. My mom saved a lot of my things so I will resave those and some of the special items. Coming home outfit, holiday outfits and anything else I just loved. Goes without saying the handmade quilts and blankets are in this pile too. Maternity clothes yes will help others in need, and I am already realizing that my last trimester in the summer clothing may never be used again. It is looking for me that a last trimester in the fall may be a thing (will have to invest in maternity jeans which I never had last time!) As far as the baby stuff....bouncers, bumbos etc I would just look at it as a way to make a few bucks or donate.
