That's not really how Jeff decides. If you look at some of the newer forums, they just don't have much traffic.  Traffic isn't a deciding issue, one way or the other.

I fail to see how this affects you in any way.  Just read "recent topics" where they're all merged in (except explicit and politics).  All a separate forum is is a tagging schema to help people focus in on what they're interested in.[/quote]

I'm interested in the school issues that affect the Nova school districts, including the one my kids are in and the ones my friends' kids are in.  Like OP, I feel fenced into one forum or the other, even though there are plenty of broad issues that could be discussed by parents in all of the school districts.[/quote]

If it's really universal, put it in the general education forums. Again, most people read from "recent topics" and notice the headlines first. [/quote]
