My 5th grade Janney kid has 5 good friends and 5/6 (all but us) applied to private for 6th.  These are all families who are committed to Deal (each has an older kid who attends or attended Deal) but they want in-person learning.  We also have an older child at Deal.[/quote]

I hope they know that there is absolutely no guarantee that the privates will be back this fall, at least 100%. We're at Sidwell and there has not been word one yet about plans for next year. Of course, renewal contracts are due soon, but still nothing said about the rest of this year, let alone next. From what I understand, that is pretty much the case across the board with DC privates, with the possible exception of the Cathedral schools that seem to be leading the way out of the DL rabbit hole.[/quote]
