Not a special needs school, and in fact, many kids with special needs beyond ADHD or dyslexia or other language based-LD end up leaving. They can handle certain academic needs very well and others not at all. The school would be the first to tell you exactly that. We have found it to be academically rigorous but not crushingly so. Some classes are very challenging and homework-intensive, others are more relaxed as this PP says. Most kids end up at strong academic colleges and Burke is good at helping find good fits. [/quote]
