Any child not admitted who has scores above those "engineered" into the program has been discriminated against. I am also not clear on the Young Scholars Program. My first grade Caucasian DS could use some extra help preparing for the entrance exams, etc. How is it acceptable for Fairfax County to deny him the ability to participate in this program? How would it fly if they engineered a similar program that was for white children only and applied the same rules in denying admission to others? Classic reverse discrimination here.[/quote]
