I have really instilled advocating for oneself throughout 4-6 th grade so that by the time my kids got to MS and certainly HS they were on their own emailing teachers for various things. I would hope MS/ HS teachers respond to students when they are advocating for them selves. This is a huge life lesson those teachers should recognize. Granted, I’m sure “grace” must be given this year.[/quote]
