REI bike salespeople are usually cyclists that can answer your questions. Outdoor cyclist here - spin shoes are essential for efficient cycling, especially steep elevations. Essential for anything greater than a 10% grade. As an outdoor cyclist though I don’t get the Peloton craze. If you have a bike, get a smart trainer. It simulates actual elevation and it’s a better workout than Peloton. [/quote]
