It's not obvious to someone who's in an abusive situation.   Especially when the abuser is gaslighting her, which this one is evidently doing.

It is obvious to her.  Re-read her subject line.  "Devasted by emotionally abusive husband."  It doesn't get any clearer than that.  
Then she says it again at the beginning of her post.  "I think he is emotionally abusive to me."  Whatever.  [/quote]
