We don’t have a real union that can negotiate or bargain, or who represents a majority of teacher voices.  We have some crazy lady from the FEA (which represents maybe, at tops, 3 percent of the faculty) who leadership lets speak at  SB meetings and it is starting to infuriate me.  She has no idea what teachers need and want.  Vaccines for kids?  That is utterly ridiculous and means staying in DL hell for the forseeable future.  Who wants that?  How about smaller classes?[/quote]
