People around us are pretty conservative when it comes to COVID.[/quote] Oh, this is me and I'll add that my kid's birthday is coming up again (hers was a regular, big house party in 2020 because it was in February). This year, she wants 4 friends to come over and do some outside masked activities, no food/mask removal. I think we might do that. FWIW, right now we would decline: -Anything indoors at all -Outdoors but only IF it seemed food-heavy, full of a million guests or I knew the family was iffy on mask-wearing and precautions (doesn't apply a lot to our kid's friends' families) We would accept most outdoor and any virtual invitations.
