It’s the Karen cut.
This. This haircut is the reason I insist on face to face meetings before hiring people. It's a total "Can I speak to your manager?" cut.
So people with short hair are Karens? You realize there are some people who look better with short hair vs long hair? And if it isnt against short hair, please show a short hair cut that doesnt scream Karen to you....
PP. No, a lot of medium and long haired people are also Karens. I just googled 'short hair' and all the top hits look fine. I don't like the raggedy weird layered/sticking up hair like hers/Gosselin's especially when combined with BRF.
It is nothing like Kate Gosselin’s hair! It is in no way “raggedy” — it always looks shiny and healthy and recently shaped. And unlike KG, it’s not loaded with obvious product and sticking straight up. It is personally too much volume in a short cut for me, but I am neither southern nor blonde (I actually wish I could achieve her color), so that’s probably why. I agree with PP that it’s crazy to assume every white lady with short blonde hair is a Karen. Women already get punished for having short hair because men are constantly complaining about how it’s not feminine enough for them. The whole “Karen haircut” thing is just another way to make fun of middle aged women for their appearance. And that’s not me saying the Karen thing isn’t a real phenomenon— it is. But people use it to justify shaming lots of women for their looks and God knows we don’t need more of that in the world.
