I may have found her polarizing & tacky when I watched The Queen of Versailles, but this article about her daughter dying is heartbreaking. This article is the most real I've seen her. The husband, David, stepped away from being the CEO of his company, in order to get involved in the fight against opioids... since his daughter's death, he's raised millions of dollars. https://abcnews.go.com/Health/queen-versailles-family-turns-attention-opioid-crisis-daughters/story?id=61607277
Its not hard to raise millions when you are a billionaire and have connections. He should have put that time into the kids while the one was alive. That was the only thing that could have prevented it. What was disappointing was the nannies didn't create any kind of family life for those kids and the parents didn't even supervise the nannies well. Kids had everything materially but no love.
