Why dont you ask the hospitals what their policies are for some who self-admits with COVID symptoms? They tell them to go home and quarantine- no one is being sent to the hospital JUST because they have a positive COVID test or a fever/loss of taste/smell. A COVID postiive test and symptoms means you are directed by your PCP or Urgent care doc to quarantine for 10-14 days.  Only those REQUIRING INTERVENTION are admitted, they arent sitting in the ER waiting room.

DP..  One guy I work with tested positive on Saturday.  He called in from the hospital parking lot today just to say he was not going to be available because he feels like sh1te and his doctor told him to go to the hospital.  He has to wait in the parking lot until they are ready for him, and yes, they will bring him in from a different entrance. He sounded gawd awful.  Poor guy.[/quote]
