My 50 yo white, male husband is a defense contractor and a former Republican. He comes from a long line of Rs, but they have lost him forever with their anti-science stance and poor management and they will never get him back. When you lose the middle age white guy from the rural west who works in defense contracting you know the party is going the way of the dodo bird. They also lost his mother and brothers who were proud Rs at one point. It’s too bad, because the party was a good balance to the DS at one point.[/quote]
