What some parents, and this OP, is saying is that the problem is the school. They claim there's no meaningful teaching going on and no support from teachers. Others are saying that isn't their experience, teaching and teachers have been strong, so it must be the kid. At the end of the day the thing with Basis is that there are only two paths to take. You stay or you leave. For us Basis is working well (though I will never use all caps for their name, which annoys me to no end) but I am open to the fact that it could change for our kids and family. [/quote]
