I think everyone understands very well - they just think you're ridiculous.  There's a difference.  You can still park there - just take yoru child out of the other side.  From what another poster said, if you open the rear driver's side door all the way, cars can't get by - so do that, and let other cars wait while you get your kid out.

Bottom line - you can still park there, just change your routine a little.  It's pretty simple.  [/quote]
