NP here. The wedding industry is a complete sham. More and more people are doing things on their own. Priscillas couldn't even stay afloat. There are places other than Davids that are more quality, but lets face it, for ten hours or less, lets get a bargain. I say sales people are sale people. I have had people at Macy's been more helpful than the alleged top notch bridal places. It is time the bridal industry is more in line with reality. They are secretive about brands and models as it is. It is like any other business in many ways. But making the bride miserable and giving the bride a hard time should NOT be what ANY bridal place is known for.
You know I agree with you so much. I was watching Say Yes to the Dress the other day with my husband and we were talking about the sham of an industry it is. It takes SIX-EIGHT months to get your dress and then you need tons of alterations??? why? I would think at that point the alterations would be very, very minimal? I would've thought those dresses would be made for your measurements. It kills me too, the people that say they only want to spend $X and I always think "the alterations will be an extra $1000 or so too" and it's not like they tell you that.
