My non-Asian friends are always shocked when I tell them that I wash my hair with whatever cheap shampoo I can find, wash it every day, and never use conditioner. I'm of east Asian descent and I never knew that shiny hair, straight har was something to be envied until I was an adult because that's just how my entire family's hair is. [/quote]
