I want to put in a plug for country music, especially alternative country (like Steve Earle, Todd Snider, or James McMurtry).  There are some great writers and performers out there.  Sometimes they're quite liberal.  Often they're not but I can usually appreciate their art in spite of it.  But I am so over Hank Jr. now.[/quote]
