It used to be the case that all SUVs were these bulky inefficient body-on-frame vehicles that truly guzzled gas...1990s Ford Explorers for example got 17 MPG City. But today, a Lexus RX 450h gets 31 MPG City. That's one MPG more than a non-hybrid 2021 Honda Accord.[/quote]
