Most solid travel programs prefer to have players that all pitch. For instance our program at the 10u level carries 12 players and of the 12 I think 11 of the kids pitch. This is just the way we develop players. If competitive baseball is what your son is looking for then I’d say steer clear of the DC based teams and play for a Montgomery county team that’s just down the street from Tenleytown. [/quote]
