This is what teachers get for insisting on virtual education. Parents watching their lessons. They have no one to blame but themselves. That said. TS videos are all very PG. she intentionally markets to the upper ES age range and I’ve never seen anything she does that isn’t safe for them to view. I assuming it’s a short, mouthed closed kiss and not a passionate, younger involved, taking clothes off. We’d need more context. What is the video/song? How old is your kid? 8? 12? I’d hope a sixth grader could deal with a TS video. Why was it used? Were kids doing something with analysis of the lyrics? Some of the TS songs are smarter than your average pop star. It could be a fun activity. Was it a five minute movement break— dance and listen to the lyrics? I think those types of things are great for ES. Mostly in DL, I’m keeping my powder dry. When you gripe about little stuff, no one takes you seriously for big stuff. Unless this teacher is teaching “Textual Analysis in Pop Sings” I would let an isolated occurrence go. PS— if you think TS level kissing is a problem for 6th grade, wait until you get a load of R&J in 9th (they usually show the video) or the Handmaids Tale in 10-12.
