These type of threads never cease to amaze me.
Why? What a weird non-sequitur.
People who can’t figure out by themselves how to frickin’ relax. I don’t have to poll a message board when I have a day off. It’s weird. I could come up with 100 different things to do...even during Covid.
Sure, I could, too. But what if the 101st idea that someone else came up with was better because they knew about something you didn't? Or had already vetted a destination during Covid times and could report back on it. Crowd sourcing is a smart way to diversify your options with limited effort, and then you can cherry pick the best ideas. Also, OP specifically said that she has ways to relax (running, hiking, reading) but was looking for something different than she's done before. OP, not sure about your indoor comfort level, but the National Gallery has timed passes right now and it feels pretty safe. Everyone wears masks and they limit the number of people in each room. If you miss museums, you could get your fix there and then eat lunch or grab coffee in the sculpture garden.
