There are huge differences between: - Domestic violence committed by people who know each other against people who they also know; - Petty crimes of property theft and vandalism by varying individuals; and - Organized crime syndicates (many times from multiple states away) that target specific areas for auto / bicycle parts stripping and reselling ( yes its a thing ); and - Human traffickers; and - a host of other things. The violence interruptors is one program of SEVERAL programs that focuses on specific communities in wards 7 & 8.... they have nothing to do with the concerns listed here. [/quote]
