I'm assuming just about everything he says is a lie including the "last confession." In his last confession, he doesn't want it to seem like it was pre-mediated.

Based on the details, I think he killed the kids first then waited for her at 2am. Kids wouldn't survive a strangulation attempt. Its arguably too easy. Maybe he lured Shanann in with the offer of sex and killed her. Pretty sure the autopsy would have said if there was sexual contact or sperm. I think he then sat there and did nothing for a while. Maybe he even slept. Then he loaded them up and took them to the work site just before he was supposed to start working to not arouse suspicion.[/quote]
