Just find out the gender at 20 weeks, tell people, and move on.  All this fuss is exhausting.

Some of us don't want to know the sex, for a whole host of reasons. I fail to see how simply not knowing (even if you express that as "we want it to be a surprise") creates any more of a "fuss" than telling.

"Oh, it's a boy."
"Oh, we don't know, we'll find out when they baby's born."
