Wow. I'm a NP, but this blew me away. I just have an infant, so we're not there yet, but yeah, when my husband or I have some downtime, we're often on our phones or computers. It's unreasonable to expect different from our children if that's the example we're setting. You've given me something to think about. [/quote]

Yes agreed pp, my child is still a toddler and this was a lightbulb moment for me when my child was an infant. I haven't quite gotten it but I'm working on it and i do think you have to be focused first on yourself if you ever expect to have these expectations for your kids. It has to be a family approach to screens. Which is hard - because that means givng up our screens a little too :)[/quote]
