Many never have a visible weight gain. I don't see what is wrong with his weight at all. If anything he was scary skinny before and now he will be able to grow! Believe it or not being super skinny messes up height growth.
OP here. He hasn’t been scary skinny in a long time. I guess what concerns me is that he gained 13 lbs in 3 months. He didn’t put 13 lbs on in 3 months on a scary skinny frame. Now he has some rolls and man boobs. Just wondering if that could be a sign of a growth spurt as he did also grow 1.5 inches in those 3 months or what’s going on.
How big of a man boobs can he have with 93 lbs and five feet tall? Maybe he is hungry in preparation for more growth? I would not do anything about it, apart from maybe the family goes for bike rides or walks. After all, that is good for everyone anyway. Most likely he is bored at home and food is accessible and easy entertainment. I would not worry about it. Hopefully, this corona virus will be over within 6 months, or we will have a vaccine, at least for fragile populations and health staff and activities can resume as before.
