Good for her but I am not using a 12 or 13 year old babysitter regularly. for 20 bucks I'm much happier paying the lady who works at their daycare for night baby sitting since I want to be able to call and say "we hit traffic, will be 30 minutes late" or whatever without then having to deal with the parents of my babysitter.[/quote]

My daughter is almost 13 and is a very popular babysitter. Because she’s young she plays a lot with the kids and doesn’t sit on her phone. Also a lot of ppl only can justify $10 an hour which is what she gets, and she will come for short periods of time (mostly in the neighborhood on foot/bike). A lot of older teenagers I have found are too busy to be free on short notice and won’t bother for only 2 hours. Mine is thrilled for $20 lol.

Generally girls her age aren’t really for date night though, more for sahm wanting an outing, or to help entertain while working at home. A lot of her jobs I’m friends with the parents that’s how she gets jobs [/quote]
