My runny nose doesn't bother me so much during the day (although it runs a lot), it bothers me at night when it causes congestion and coughing.  For me THAT is the most bothersome thing about it. When it's bad, I break out the Afrin (my regular nasal sprays are non-additictive/no rebound) and Nyquil.

My DH doesn't seem to be bothered by my runny nose.  We've been married 25 years.
