Families have had since March to set up a schedule that works for themselves. I know it took us awhile to sort out the best timing for how we all coordinate device usage, time of day kids work best on academics, not to mention some quiet reading time and physical activity. I am hoping for maximum flexibility with whatever "schedule" each of my childrens teachers propose.
I suspect individual teachers (at least in DCPS) will not have the scheduling autonomy they did in the spring because each school is creating a master schedule. They might be able to work with you on small group times, but the academic blocks, specials and any services might be very rigid. I'm a teacher and I have no idea how I'm going to keep my young child on track with DL unless my schedule magically works with her live times.
