Also, you should be careful making assumptions about "most others". Maybe in your circle this is true, but don't assume its universally true. I have no problem with the OP hiring a part time teacher to facilitate DL, even if its not something I choose to do for my kids.

I did answer here question in another post. She needs to go part time, or her partner needs to go part time, or both. Families have been making adjustments to deal with hardship for forever. It's life. Either you have what it takes to weather the storm or you don't. I can't imagine with all that whining and complaining that OP and her ilk on DCUM are winners. They made the most of the economy when it was good, and now they don't have what it takes to make it during a hard time. Boo hoo.[/quote]
