The only point to living in the city was being close to the office to spare us a commute. So we put up with the expensive housing, crowded conditions, crime, etc, because at least we weren’t spending two hours in the car every day. But now? With everyone working mostly from home? Why would ANYONE, especially families, *choose* to live in the city if they didn’t have to? We have just witnessed the apogee of urban living. It happened in January of 2020.
