With my child, It is easier to give 3 hours of dedicated work to one child 1:1 than 8 hours dispersed across an entire classroom. I don’t mind DL at all. More concerned about emotional and social development, and also the kids that aren’t able to participate in arts, athletics, or team building activities.

I recognize that I have one child, not two or four, so that is obviously shaping my expeirmx too. Plus some kids don’t mind long periods and stretches in the same place, so the disposition comes into play too.
