Because she totally overreacted.  No one is saying she can't be upset, but to leave the family camping trip early by herself and not even be able to carry on a conversation with her son about this after he came home with everyone else?  And she can't stop crying and is now worried about driving her DS to college.  Way too much drama. [/quote]
