The parents who claim things like "minimal risk to the kids" and "stop living in fear" are the parents I'm concerned about. They spend more time trying to minimize the risk and being far to casual about the risk. They are the ones who will tell you to "just stay home if you're scared" as well. Well, if people take the risks seriously, wear masks, social distance, keep unnecessary social interactions to a minimum most people won't have to make the decision to stay home.
+1 These people are the reason states are still in partial lockdown. If people took this more seriously at the beginning we'd be on the downward slide, but there are all these crazies who are looking for COVID parties and having playdates in the middle of lockdown because "whatever". So annoying we're in this state because of so many idiots while other countries are coming out of it.
