Cold water Shark infested People seem nice to me Charming houses
It actually does not have that many sharks, but thanks for chiming in.
Not a shark expert, but when we were in Cape Cod a couple years ago, all the beaches had shark warning signs/alerts posted since seals were in the area. We still went in up to our knees, but it was something that was definitely in the back of my mind and the shark warning signs, along with the cold water, kept us from going in any further into the water. For the record, this Cape Cod vs. OBX fight is tired. We have been to both and like both of them a lot. To me Cape Cod and OBX are both pretty similar. Long stretches of sand that jut out into the ocean. Also, both are similar in that when you enter OBX, like when you enter Cape Cod, neither are what you were coming to expect. Kill Devil Hills, like Yarmouth, is kind of disappointing if you're expectations were quiet beaches with lots of elbow room. If you did your research, or explore some, Cape Cod and OBX, offer a lot of different kinds of beach experiences.
