Are you sure? I am the poster who went on about how terrible it was. Really? I can’t compute not being put off by flying with toddlers. Crying. Tantrums. Running out of toys and books because luggage space is finite. What do you do???[/quote]

Not PP, but mine isn't so bad either. I had one bad flight at 12 months (and even then, only the departure, not the return), and have taken another international trip, and two domestics since then (altogether between ages 1-2). The first departure was bad because he got overtired and couldn't sleep on the flight. Thereafter (including soon after, on the return), I made sure to time things (wake him up earlier, skip/delay naps, etc), so that he would be ready to fall asleep as soon as the flight started. He loves takeoff, so each time he has just sat in my lap, looked out the window, sucked on his binky, and fallen asleep. When he wakes, he does a lot of TV time. He'll watch for hours if we let him. He doesn't get a lot of daily TV at home, so I'm fine with it for a flight here and there. I know a lot of toddlers won't watch a lot of TV, but he always has.

Hopefully we'll be just as lucky with his little sister when she gets here, and COVID is less of a concern...[/quote]
