Are you really that stupid, or are you intentionally parroting that stupid line?  Jefferson is not being "removed from history."  Taking down statues honoring Confederate generals is not changing history.  Statues are not history.  If they were, Germans would not know about Hitler because there aren't any statutes of him up in Germany.  We don't have statues of George III or General Burgoyne in the U.S., and yet people still know that the Americans won the Revolutionary War.  Re-evaluating Jefferson's reputation because he owned slaves isn't "changing history."  It's recognizing that people are complicated and maybe we shouldn't be deifying a guy who raped his wife's half-sister and owned his own children.

So, no, I don't think that people will have a problem with [i]Hamilton[/i], given that one of the major points of [i]Hamilton [/i]is that American history belongs to everyone, not just white men.    [/quote]
