But I also think staying in the bubble just defers the acquisition of immunity at enormous physical, psychological, mental and economic costs. Kids should go back to school and should play with sensible screening. The rest of us should act responsibly, guided by intelligence and not paralyzed by fear. I can live without seeing my kids play again. I really could not care less. But holding children hostage to the fears of a few in schools or otherwise is a disproportionate and potentially catastrophic response to a real but manageable set of problems. [/quote]
