From what I can tell, there is no one standard for that field on the common data set. Which is infuriating, because it makes it hard to gauge where your kid's GPA lands for that school. They should set a standard for it and the schools abide by it.[/quote] Just look at sat scores or naviance. They can’t make a standard because every high school grades differently: weighted, unweighted, 5.0 scale, 6.0 scale, 100% scale, 4.0 scale, no grades at all[/quote]
