Our daycare is open to essential & phase 1 worker now, and they are asking for 100% tuition even if you are not sending kids to daycare in July. They will provide some virtual distance learning, but we don't have time to provide supervision during workweeks & my DC is not interested. We are not planning to send DC back to daycare till September/October or later, should we pay 100% tution to keep our spot? And, they say that paying 100% does not guarantee a spot, and we wouldn't know till we decide to send our child back. And, everyone is talking about COVID19 second wave, what month will that be? October-December?
If you are not guaranteed a spot and you have a child over 3, I wouldn't worry about it. You can find a spot for older kids, but the infant/toddler is what is hard. If they will guarantee a spot, yes, but otherwise no.
Agree. You have to ask yourself what you would be paying for- potentially nothing.
