Sounds like you don't care about why people are protesting.  If you want them to stop, think about enacting police reforms wherever you live.

How do you explain protests downtown by the white house but looting at Friendship Heights?  It isn't the protests that are your problem.

Sorry, no. I care about why people are protesting and I care about protecting the livelihoods of small business owners and the economic viability of this city. I actually can do both simultaneously. It has been demonstrated that criminals hide out with the protesters and use the crowd to cover their activities. Protesters have been begging the criminals who hide among them to stop vandalizing and looting. A curfew allows peaceful protest and community safety. Why do you want the protests to be undermined by criminals?[/quote]
