I know nothing about this family or their motives but parents should do what's best for the child. If these people bit off more than they could chew and weren't able to manage his needs, maybe this was the best of some really bad options. Just because they made mistakes doesn't mean they should keep failing the kid since they made this commitment (if that's what was happening). [/quote]
