Running in general, no matter your speed, is a different biomechanic than walking and burns considerably more calories, but a mile at 6min vs 10min isn't going to be hugely different. They are both going to get your heart pumping hard. And the calories burned depend on a person's weight or body mass. But I agree that OP's still are quite low, unless she was walking a chunk of those 4 miles. [/quote] Source?
